This role will drive the execution of one of our critical priorities in the People & Organization function: building a reliable and harmonized HR infrastructure for a great employee experience.

The purpose of the role is 2 folded:

  • Lead and operate our HR harmonized infrastructure through the local team of specialists: core HR processes across the employee life cycle, HR operations and payroll , deliver HR excellence and amazing employee experience, at country level, while contributing to regional automation and scaling
  • Own and foster a positive Social Climate and Relations at local level

Reporting to the Director of Talent Operations & Experience, at European Level, you will be a key partner for the business Leaders with local teams, and a member of the extended regional People & Organisation leadership team. As Senior HR Country Site Manager, you will work in very close partnership with the regional HR Directors covering end-to-end value streams such as Product & Tech, Commercial, Enablers, as well as with Directors of Center of Expertise.

The role can include additional European based projects to support P&O regional transformation.

Key responsibilities:

● Ensure P&O initiatives and processes are accurately implemented and executed at local level

● Own and lead a smooth running of daily operational personnel work along the entire life cycle of the employees of our country locations (from onboarding to offboarding, with ownership of personnel administration, validation of payroll data submission)

● Manage the country HR team (payroll and HR Advisors), build positive relationships, drive engagement, ensure excellent delivery and services, act as coach to support the team's growth.

● Represent the company in the relationship with our Works' Council and focus on building and fostering positive Social Climate and Relations. In a close cooperation with the co-determination bodies, the role will lead negotiations, draft and prepare company agreements.

● Assist HR Directors and Business Leaders on initiatives and cases relating to labor law, tax law and social insurance. Work in a very close relationship with our legal function.

● Maintain appropriate level of process, policy knowledge in order to assist Employees and Managers at local level

● Act as a key HR sparring partner within the local organization, and effectively partner with counterparts and team members in other countries.

● Furthermore, ensure compliance with labor law regulations and legal requirements

● Own the maintenance of our HRIS (Workday), ensure data integrity of all employee change transactions by following the agreed HR process framework; supervise Employee Data Management with a focus on meeting clean data requirements

● Be the local partner and point of expertise for process design in Workday, provide input to optimize our HR system and HR processes to meet our automation and scaling goals.

● Stay abreast of regulatory changes and make recommendations

● Collaborate on cross-country projects to strengthen P&O team cohesion across the organization


Preferred experience

  • Minimum 7 years of comprehensive operational experience iun HR environment with the must-have HR processes, with 4 years managerial experience (ideally in a larger tech organization)
  • Very strong and proven experience in working with works councils and unions, and good knowledge of the Works Constitution Act
  • Very strong French  employment law knowledge
  • Cross-location and 'remote' management and working experience
  • Enjoys teamwork and people interactions 
  • Strong networking & communication skills, comfortable to work in a matrix environment
  • High customer service orientation and drive for execution
  • Must have experience with global HR Systems (Workday preferred), Google G-Suite, Jira
  • Must have strong understanding of HR Process and Data Management, interest for technology, process improvement, and continuous learning
  • Driven and passionate about HR with a hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Very good spoken and written knowledge of French and English
